Playgolf Colchester on Bakers Lane has gone back to its earlier name, Lexden Wood Golf Club. If your invitation or an old listing says Playgolf, it is the same building off the A12 at Lexden.
The function room is the Lexden Suite. Partition walls let the club hire it as a full room or a half room, and there is a games bar upstairs for smaller get-togethers.
Booking and set-up
The club takes enquiries through its website. Once you have a date, tell me whether you have the full suite or half, because that changes the size of rig I bring. I have more detail on my Lexden Wood Golf Club page.
