Copdock Hall is on Church Lane at Copdock, next to St Peter’s church. The big old barn beside the hall is the wedding and events venue, hired for exclusive use.
It is one of the nearest Suffolk venues to Colchester, about 20 minutes up the A12.
Sound in a large barn
This is a long, tall building. I place the speakers to cover the dance floor end and leave the other end quieter for talking. Lighting the roof makes a big difference after dark. I arrange access with the venue and arrive in good time.
