Hi there, thank you for visiting my page! My name is Jason Clark, and I am Dance Sounds Disco – your Essex DJ.

I discovered my passion for DJing at the young age of 7 when I hosted my first disco for my sister’s 5th birthday – it was a tough crowd, but I did get Cake, which was fine reward when I was 7!

Since then, I have been hooked on creating memorable parties (although I was a bit limited by my dad’s record collection back then!)
Fast forward to the 90s, and I found myself working in a nightclub, spinning what are now known as “kisstory club classics.” Those were some fun nights!

In 2008, I officially started Dance Sounds Disco and began taking DJ bookings. Over the years, I have networked with other DJs and worked hard to provide a solid service to my clients. Music and having fun are my biggest passions, and I enjoy a wide range of music genres.

Dance Sounds Disco now specialises in weddings but also loves entertaining at family parties like wedding anniversaries and engagements.
Many of my wonderful clients book me for multiple events, allowing us to tailor the music to their exact preferences.

Professionally, my goal is to keep the dancefloor packed with happy dancers, and I achieve this through experience, selecting the right tunes, and the energy of the guests.
My extensive DJ music collection spans from the 1950s to the current charts, constantly growing to meet every music taste.

Personally, I have a love for variety, ranging from Green Day and Dusty Springfield to XTC and Orbital. I prefer exciting music over slower ballads, although there is a perfect moment for every song. I hope this page has provided an interesting background on who you’ll be working with as your Essex DJ.

In Augst 2023, I left Hertfordshire and returned to my home county of Essex.  I’m now based in Colchester, but still cover my Hertfordshire bookings, but are enjoying more local bookings in Colchester and Ipswitch.
